avatar milkins I like the final result, and i know that was a lot of work, but thats a bit tricky to wrap reference and do no more. Btw i did the same once and get 1st place haha.
Upd: And after checking source i think its even more tricky now - you could just colorize this gape even without source at all.

Try to do something individual, spend time on it, not only 5 mins (ppl usually waste hours or even days).
Make friends who knows how to, dont afraid to ask, aim for top works quality, generate ideas, improvize, read tutorials, and main - practice, as much as you can!

Btw, if anyone knows who is author of source - lemme know plz, i would like to check other arts

avatar milkins Oh hell... manipulilum ownage 0_^. Beautyful entry. Only suggestion i have is to add a lil lil bit of hue to every beam according to flower colors - red green n blue. Also water is not that great, i guess easiest way to fix it is to make it darker. But thats just on my taste, not a constructive. Thumbs up.
Btw, i just saw this tut about lifebeam on DA 1-2 days ago, mabe its better to put link to tut instead of webdesign.org? This one doesnt show anything (for me at least).And i like this multyray star brush, gonna find\make one.

avatar milkins shadow should go directly down (well, mabe 2-3* to left), grass cant be that green in moonlight (black to white and dark green to blue - night colors), Elephant itself should look like silhuette since all lightning is going from behind him, only topline of it can have some reflections. Agree with Hilleke about distortion.

avatar milkins Outstanding idea, i like it. But this background with two rings hmmm, i would get rid of it and zoom (crop) to main ring. I know that there should be some competition between standart rings and main one, but not this way. At least try to make them smaller (and still zoom in)
