I'm new here too & agree about the step-by-steps -- who can EXPLAIN this stuff? 
But I just said that, because I really loved your work (I favorited it so I can go back & examine it later) & I want to learn how to do work like that, too. My biggest learning prob right now is layers -- seems like PS creates a new layer every time I paste a copy onto the page -- argh! But that's just me -- you obviously don't have that problem!
