How to make wing with engine - part 1

On start, open new image size 1024*768 pix with white background. First we will creaty propeller. So create new layer and rename it to propeller. Select Eliptical marquee tool and draw aperfect circle. Fill a circle with gray color. Now find a center in circle and try to draw something like this;

Then cut black marks what you draw in previous step, now you have something like propeller. Go to filter> liquify and do like on this picture

Go to propeller layer in layers palete and double click on thumbnail to open layer style box. Mark a inner and outer glow and set it as you wish, then add gradient overlay as on picture

Now we will make a frame around engine. Create anew layer and name it FRAME. Make circle like on this picture.

Then select frame layer and add some shadows with dodge and burn tolls. try to make something like on picture below.
