In this tutorial we are going to learn how to blend 2 images into one and give it the old photo look.

The walkway layer is more whitish than the house layer, so we apply a yellowish tint to this layer. Click the walkway copy layer and click on the ‘new fill or adjustment layer’ & select the solid colour option.

Select ‘solid colour’ option. Dialogue box will pop up & the eyedropper tool will be highlighted. Select the yellowish colour in the walls of the house.

Change the blend mode of the colour fill layer to ‘colour’ & the opacity to 20%, now there are 5 layers.

Once again go to ‘new fill or adjustment layer’ icon in the bottom of the layer palette, this time select the ‘Black and white’ option

The black and white dialogue box will pop up. Apply the following settings in the box.
