Old photo effect - part 2

First layer is the girls walking in the path
Layer 2 the house
Layer 3 is the pic of the girls that we extracted in the beginning.

We can clearly see that the walkway layer is more blurred & the house layer is very sharp. So now we sharpen the walkway layer. Duplicate the walkway layer (right the walkway layer and select duplicate layer)

Once the layer is duplicated go to filter >> other >> high pass.

The High pass dialogue box will pop up. Fill the radius as 50 pixels; we need the walkway to be sharper that’s why we select high radius. (I have also used the clone stamp tool to make the area near the house sharper)

Next we smooth the edge of the house layer to merge with the walkway layer. i used the blur tool
