Tutorial goal:

This tutorial will take you through the process for making your very own ribbon banners. These can be seen everywhere from posters and flyers to even logos. They are easy to create and can be easily customized.

Now to move the other bottom two layers. Do so like this.

What i've done here is simply made each layer white (except for the two grey layers) and add a 3 pixel stroke to each. This is simply done in the blending options, double click your layer and add a white color overlay and a 3px black stroke.

Grab this image of old paper.

Now what we need to do is extract parts of this picture to use for our ribbon banner. To do this grab the paper layer resize it to fit you window, and drag it to the bottom of the layer window.

Now using the seletion method we used before, ctrl + click an element layer's thumbnail, any will do. Now navigate down to your paper layer, select it and press ctrl + c to copy. Now navigate back to the layer you selected in the first place, select it and press ctrl + v or paste. This should make a new layer above the one you had selected.

Repeat step nine for each element. Now delete that paper layer and you should have something similar to this.
