We are going to make our own painting out of a portrait. You need a bit of drawing and painting skills, but most of the work is done by blending layers and the use of a few filters. Very detailed steps for beginners. Made with CS2.

Use the eyedropper tool to set the colours in the tools window. Black as the foreground colour, white as the background colour.
Filter>sketch>stamp

step 9

You can change the settings till you have a nice black and white drawing. Press ok.

Now you have layer 2.
