Create your own feathers - part 2

Move the hands of the top two bars downwards and then move the bottom two bars upwards to form a basic feather shape with the line curved and the intersection of the lines forming a point as shown here.

Hold down the CONTROL key on your keyboard and RIGHT CLICK on the shape layer so the selection of the shape has been formed as shown here.

Now add a new layer by clicking on the LAYER – NEW – LAYER as shown. The following box will appear, click OK

Now press the D key on your keyboard to set the default colours.

Next click EDIT and then FILL and fill with the foreground colour set on 100% NORMAL MODE and then click ok.

Now turn the shape layer eye off.
