step 1

Pick any well looking brick wall, for me I picked this brick wall texture from this source: http://www.sxc.hu/browse.phtml?f=download&id=904377

step 2

open it with photoshop and click the crop tool (C) in the red circle; at the width and height boxes insert "581 in" for both..

step 3

from the top left of the image drop down the crop tool "it should be cropped in a square form", then click on the right mark in the red circle...reseizing here mainly is for just squaring and better looking..

step 4

This pic I designed before_not for the graffiti wall_but we can use the text "smash" in it, it seems that it is cool enough to be a graffiti, you don't have to design something like this, you don't have to be professional at brush drawing, the graffiti art is all about drawing anything randomly and making it more beautiful and we can do this at photoshop...anyway here is the pic for those who wish to apply my steps...

step 5

now save the image at step 4 on your pc and open it at photoshop with the brick image you cropped at step 3:
1. Select the Magic Wand Tool
2. Set torelance to 42 and click on the black border of "Smash" just one click untill you obtain the selection as shown below..
3. Right click on the selection and select layer via copy...
4. hold down ctrl and drag the selection to the brick image as shown...it will be named as layer 1 on the layers window...

avatar Smash 1987yes, I've tried making a displacemnt map, but it looked too embosed and unreal, some thing like a plastic wrap or a glass layer, not graffiti!!
