step 11

Deselect and fill with light blue color as u wish and blur the layer with radius: 3.8 pxs or 1/2 the value u used before i.e. if 7.6 pxs ->3.8 pxs
if 8 pxs.->4 pxs. and so on....

step 12

That's it, the ball is light blue although that we choused at the beginning a dark color but later we deflected the light and spread it and the result is shiny aquatic blue sphere, so if we choused a lighter color it would be difficult- but possible-if we spread the light. users may face problems with lighter colors like yellow and pale green, good luck...

avatar Smash 1987yes, but yours differs slightly from mine in the site of light refraction. my one its refraction is toward the bottom little bit and this gives it more reality cuz the light comes from above...

avatar Smash 1987I'm seeking to give something rare, not unique. you know, I really needed to make an aquatic sphere for an entry at a contest and I didn't know how, I searched the whole net for such a tutorial but I found nothing so I had to work hard to obtain the result and thought that I should share this with those who wish to know. You may have such an experience but others haven't...thanks for the comment anyway..

no avatarya know what annouys me... other ppl who put down the person who writes the tutorial.

If ya cant give some constructive critisism (with out having a big head and making yourself better then the other person) then shut up, and let the rest of us give it a crack and do our own thing!

no avatarNot descriptive enough, pictures don't match instructions. Had to improvise at several points in order to get the result shown.
