step 21

I use different layer blending modes and gradient mask to give a highlight and shadow effect here.

Top of building is a new layer, circular marquee selection oval shape, then white to black gradient.

Select new circle layer then while holding down Shift + Ctrl hit the I to
inverse selection. then with a hard brush erase to clean up edges.at the top of the building.

Create the sphere by circle marquee, then while holding down Shift and Ctrl hit the C key to get a merged copy. then Ctrl V to paste the new merged layer.

Select cirle and do a spherize, as many times as you like to get the effect you want.
