Same for the bottom layer.

Now we do a gradient mask to let the darker layer below to show through.

Click gradient mask button, then do a gradient across layer. black to erase, white to bring back or "reveal".

Now we will make building with section of bar code. first select part you want with rectangle marquee.

Copy section Ctrl J, then Ctrl T and drag down to stretch segment.
