Duplicate this layer (Ctrl J)
Now go to Filter > Stylise > Extrude and apply the following settings
Type = Blocks
Size = 2 pixels
Depth = 30 (Random)
Solid front faces

Now change the blending option of the above 2 layers to screen.

Now apply Gaussin Blurr (1.6 radius) on the top layer.

Make a new layer and name this new layer as shadows. Paint the lower edges of the clouds with black colour with round
brushwith soft edges (Opacity = 45% ; Flow = 10%).

Now we have to remove the extra black colour outside the clouds. Go to Select (circled in red) > Colour Range. Keep the Fuzziness at 118 and click anywhere on the sky where there are no clouds.

looks pretty realistic!
