Tutorial goal:
This tutorial will show you how to make a custom postage stamp with your chosen image on it. I made this tutorial in Photoshop CS3.

step 1
This is the before and what you should end up with as a finished result.

step 2
Open up the picture you want to use in photoshop. And select the whole image by doing ctrl +a

step 3
Cut the image from the background and put it into a new layer by doing a shift+ctrl+j.

step 4
Add some white space around your image by going Image>Canvas Size.
When the pop-up appears, apply the following settings:
Width: 20cm
Height: 20cm
Relative: Yes
Canvas Extension Color: White

step 5
Your picture should look like this:

In Step 8, you have stated that -- "Set your foreground color to white. You can just click on
that arrow near your foreground & background colors to switch the colors.
Now fill the square you just drew with white by doing an alt+backspace." I suggest -
Alt+Backspace/or Alt+Delete. Hope you admit it.
