Light From Behind Door

first you find a picture of desired door or anything that opens with cracks around the sides

Step 2 make thin white lines(or desired color of light) in every visible crack seen around door frame, and if so the lock, in which case would need a small white lock shape. Which you see no lock so no lock shape.

step 3 click layer>layer style>outer glow, give each white line an outer glow of the same color, dont give it to much, just enough to look real enough.

just in case you need a the lock light as well i mys well help you out just a little i guess, you find a lock shape, size it to correct size, preferably a dark color, and give it a slight outer glow of same color as door cracks.

next step, make another lock shape and center it in the middle of first lock shape, but size it small and make it white or what ever color chosen, and give that an outer glow as well. If all goes well it should not look half bad. Of course you should play around with the settings until you think it looks completely worth wild.
