Tutorial goal:

Here I`m showing how to improve the sharpness of your work using high pass....

Before / After


step 2

After flatten image ---> CTRL + J


step 3

Filter----> other----> high pass


step 4

High pass ---- radius 10 pixels


step 5

Filter high pass / blending mode = OVERLAY... but you can use soft light too(soft sharpness)

avatar musicj19I use this technique all the time. It's an easy way to control sharpness without it being blown out
of proportion. Only different is that when I choose the radius, it's not always the same because
each image has unique contours. Great tutorial! Wish I had thought to write it first.
