step 1
First you need to take a nice picture of a leaf, petal, flower or find it at the web, like the petal I`m showing here.

step 2
- With a elliptical marquee tool, while holding the shift key choose a nice drip-size area...

step 3
- create a new layer(at the botton of the layer palette click at the icon at the left side of the trash icon), and I have used the gradient tool to fill the new selection with a black and white fade effect.
Pay attention at the dark area at the main image when using the gradient...(dark to light area)
Give the name "DROPLET" at this layer

step 4
- At the botton of the layer palette click at the icon - add a layer style = fx - and choose DROP SHADOW. Ajust the angle/distance/shread and size - here I have used 13

step 5
- now change the blending mode to OVERLAY and deselect (ctrl+D)
