step 1
Use the Lasso Tool to create a border around your object, in this case a person on a skateboard.
step 2
Then press Ctrl + J to copy anew layer for the selection you just made.
step 3
Then , hold Ctrl once again and click on Layer 1 to select the layer.
step 4
Press Edit/Define Brush Preset.
step 5
Click Ok and name it whatever you want it to be.
