step 15 What we are going to do is make a selection of the green plants. Hit CRTL+M to bring up the Curves screen:
step 16 Then CRTL+L to bring up the Levels screen. Move the grey and white triangles to the left.
step 17 CRTL+Click the Green copy layer to select. IMPORTANT! Go Select->Inverse!!
step 18 Back on the Layers panel, Select the background layer and press CRTL+J to paste the selection onto a new layer. Drag it over the graffiti:
step 19 Clever, aren't I? Now a bit of Filter->Add Noise->Noise. you can't go wrong with a bit of noise. You can also lower the Opacity to 59% or so:
step 20 Last job, change the Layer blend from Normal to Overlay:
step 21 For a more faded look, change the Layer Blend to 'Exclusion'.
step 22 As a last little touch you can select the Eraser tool, choose an irregular brush, lower the Opacity, and chip away at the graffiti a bit to make it look more worn. And that's it - You're done!
