first I solarised the original, then I added the lenseflare. Then I added the cat, and added the gold accents and the necklace with the basic photoshop tools to the cat. I blurred the edges of the cat to make it fit in, and that's all.

While hiking, a boy finds a strange crystal ball laying in the grass. He holds it up and sees an image materialize within it. He realizes it is an image of a past age.

I used sources from old contests. Smoke made with "render cloud". Motion blur. Freehand drawing. Blending options. A lot of overlay.

I tried with the same pic of the tutorial. I will try with other pictures.
