The stone background was loosely based on a great stone wall tutorial from lunacore.com. I lightened the values of the rock layers and dropped in my bone drawing for the mask rather than grout lines of the stone wall. Thanks to wpclipart.com for the free-for-use skeletal reference, and to publicdomainpictures.net for the gold ring. This was a free sample. The site normally charges a nominal fee for use.
After the elements were applied to the stone, there was considerable airbrushing for the cracks, shadows, and highlights. I hope you like it. It was great fun to create.
