Step 1: Used the horizontal and vertical flips - you will have 4 different sides of the same image - 1.upright facing right, 2. upright facing left, 3. upside down facing right and finally 4. upside down facing left.

Step 2: Copied and pasted them till I have what you see above.

The idea is that everything can be made up as patterns - like the bathroom tiles where there is one image repeated countless number of times.
