As soon as I saw the source picture and saw the colors, I automatically thought Christmas. So this is what came out of it. All source, nothing else.

warp, rotation, duplicate and layer mask.

The entire image is derived from the source photo with the exception of the bridge road and supports which are painted in. The tree trunk is made from the brick texture which was stretched and warped. The branches are from the railing. I inverted, warped then liquefied. The entire background was made from the sheet metal textures- cut,stretched, cloned and color altered. The"shading" was done with the dodge and burn tool.
