White as snow, red as blood, black as ebony wood...

For the image: I made her face and hand lighter, made the hair black and colored her lips red. After that I closed her eye with Filter>Liquify and added blue eyeshadow. Then I cut the apple from the source image and added it to the image. I put some new shadows and highlights on it and rotated it.

Just some contrast and color changes, then using the gradient tool to create lightning effects. Arc points were created with the dodge tool. A very simple piece.
