Picture search results for: Recovery

I used a picture of Buzz Aldrin here, the hardest part was trying to get the lighting right. I used Burn and dodge, and saturation to try and get the right look. The shadow of the pole was simply a rotated and flipped image. I painted it black and then used a layer mask along with the opacity to try and get the shadow depth. The other image of the earth was earth rising taken from Apollo 8, I used a slight gaussian blur to put it out of focus.
