Used a tutorial to create the orbs (http://www.photoshopcafe.com/tutorials/orbs/orbs.htm) which I modified slightly to suit my puposes, other than that it is all the source image and photoshop.

Ummm...you made the splash?
I'd think the orbs would have some drops on them...

Yes CMYK, the splash was made by me. Used elliptical marquee tool, fill, bevel and emboss, reduce fill to zero and then it is just a case of duplicating and warping slightly and using transform to vary the size.
