Very spooky image. I know you're going for mood, but the shadow under the hand on our right could be lighter, and the edge blurred a bit. Check the masking on the foreground finger...

My comment was to help improve this image. If you think the bad masking on the foreground finger is okay, I don't know what to tell you. (Not to mention that on both hands the rings are on the wrong finger...).

I sat here trying to figure out the story behind this one...and which hand the gun would've come from since it's laying that way...you caught my attention and that's a good thing. Nice work!

PS-Of course this means at some point, I'm going to want to hear the story you intended when you created it.

Like the mood but agree with CMYK's points about the shadow and masking of the finger. I can understand artistically why you would keep the shadow that way, it is dramatic. But improving the masking on the ring finger of the hand in front of the gun would make the image cleaner and get higher marks! We're just trying to help you out!

i'd change the color of the rings, or atleast make them more...brilliant (for the lack of a better word... maybe more shiny)

The masking on the foreground finger is really a detail!! You'll accustom to fantastic CMYK's comments (this time may be he forgot that this is a beginner contest). Anyway he's right. Just want to say that the picture an concept are great!! Only the hand on the right looks a bit over saturated compared to the one on the left and the light on the gun is different compared to the left hand...In syntesis just something wrong on the left hand. Shadows are good
