I really like the idea and the work on the plant/stem is really nice great mood created as well, but the flower looks cut n paste

You could have used different cloud brushes, or distorted a few so they wouldn't be so repetetive, but over all a good job.

I really like your style! Try a new layer and paint a blob of bright color around the flowering part, change the blend mode to color dodge and lower the opacity, additional layers and variating blending modes can create interesting light effects. Could also use a shadow that closely fits the shape of the stem/leaves. Great kewl mood, nice job.
