7-steps guide for Clowning around:

Entry guide: step 1 of 7
Started by cutting out the cannon. This was done using the pen tool.

Next I cut out the cannon barrell and warped it. I used the layer mask to blend it in and cloned the texture to make it look right.

Again using the pen tool, I cut out the lady clown and placed her looking towards the cannon.

Next I cut out the man clown and squeezed him into the cannon barrell. Cut out using the pen tool and the layer masked him into position.

Then I put the background in and blurred it.

I toned doen the background by lowering the saturation and adjusting the brightness/contrast a little.

I then played with the hue/saturation on the cannon to give it a more rusty look (didn't like the green).
