Don't get me wrong.. it's an ok picture.. but i don't think u did it all.. at most u overleyed the textures to the real pic.

Please see the Close Up view in the Step by step. There are no textures anywhere, Just gradients, Layer styles & filters to get texture.

I'm sorry but I'll have to agree on this one. In the very least you used a reference image. Until I see it, I'm not voting. No one here can tell whether or not you did a slap job or incredible work of art. You didn't make your "Gradient Map" without at least a Wacom tablet. From the looks of it, you found a pic of a car, desaturated it, and then darkened it to only get the highlights. Sorry bro. I can do the same thing in 15 minutes.

Sorry but the sentence from Resident Geek make me to laugh. "You didn't make your "Gradient Map" without at least a Wacom tablet." I work years just with an tablet whats the different If he/she do it with mouse or tablet. Thats just an optical device some people prefer to move the mouse cursor with pen than with mouse *lol*. Also if the author paints in some stuff its no matter he did this with mouse or pen.

Jurgen: Perhaps I should clarify. He said, and I quote: "I cant paint because I dont have a Graphic Tablet." I'm not saying it's not possible. (Although I'd be very impressed to see someone paint that with a mouse.) I'm simply commenting on his statement of "graphic tablet." If he can't paint because he doesn't have a tablet, how did he do it? I was saying he'd need to have painted it if he didn't use a reference and he "don't have a Graphic Tablet."

Thanks for the reference photo author.
I'd like to suggest you pick up the contrast in the body color, more darks and lights as per the photo, it gives the paint job a nice shiny surface.

Very nice! My only suggestion would be to add some color to the reflection on the left. I have never used a graphic tablet and can "paint" with a mouse so I don't doubt your talent!
