avatar DanLundberg Awesome overall. The unknown is what does the canal bottom look like when the water parts? I personally would opt for no visible water residue, just damp sea bottom. Also, the canal bed at the bottom of the pic is waterless, yet the parting waves stop before the bottom of the pic. I would expect the wave parting to precede the lost souls by a ways.
