I confess to be terminally dense. What does this mean? (Nice to look at isn't sufficient for me.) Why do the ashtray's -- I mean, emblem's -- borders fade away where the whites of the eye are? What is the relevance of the ship's wheel where a black pupil should be? Why does the iris have what appear to be handles? A gunsight-type image in front of the eye would be awesom.

well i guess that's for everyone to interpret as they wish, right? we're here to produce images, not to explain what we mean through them. But ok.. Like I wrote in the image description, I'm trying to pass the idea of controlling what we see, not letting something or someone tell us what to do, etc. As for the circular piece of the ashtray, i used it exactly as a gunsight (we have to use the source image, right?..), opposing to the meaning of the wheel, showing that our eyes (and mind) are in danger... I think it's easy to get to that interpretation, anyways...
