4-steps guide for sea horse:

The segments were made using the pieces from the shrip using mostly distort, warp. They were scaled and rotated to fit in place. THe picture in the url given below was used only as reference. Only source was used to create the image.

Entry guide: step 2 of 4
The face was created from part of the shrimp face using liquify. The details on the front part of the face was made with burn and dodge. The back part of the face was created as shown in figure.

THe background was cleaned up mostly with the clone tool.

The sea horses was pasted on the new background and finishing touches added:
Shadows added, second seahorsescaled down and blurred to fit the position, part of the rock cut and pasted in front of the second seahorse to make it seem like it was behind it.
