Nice cartoon style, good concept, but would like to see a feathered blurry edge begining to develop where the feathers are toughing the portrait image.

Need extreme feathering (I can't see much of any), especially since the dark angel fades into the background. [BTW while there is absolutely nothing wrong with an angel who looks like Richard Simmons, that's not what comes to my mind when I think fantasy superhero.]

Using the egret photo I cutted the wings to make both the angel's wings and crown.

Entry guide: step 3 of 4

Using the magic wand I erased some of the girl's photo.

Entry guide: step 4 of 4

Added a background using the gradient tool. Added feather and copied it in different layers, merged them and lowered the opacity. Painted the dess using the color replacement tool. Added then a poster edges filter.
