i selected the face and copied it to a new layer.the i used the liquify tool to make the bottom half of the mask.

i did the same for her hands as in step one.

i made a selection at the bottom for the ground and added a stone wall filter to it.i selected two poles on a new layer and filled those with the gradient tool and selected a rectangle at the top and used a wood filter for the sign.

i duplicated the "face" layer and applied the chrome filter to it.saturated it with blue and lowered the opacity.i duplicated it again and used a few blending options.

on the bachground i used some smoke brushes that i made and darkened the color and used plastic wrap over it. i also used a fire filter for inside the eyes and then the smear tool to fix the fire.
