Used liquify, and lots of burn and dodge to create the female shape. I used three orchid bases for this shape

Used the orchid itself here for the wings, Again used lots of dodge and burn to creat a shiny effect
Entry guide: step 4 of 5

Used anice blue here, with the layer set to overlay to get a pale translucent effect
Entry guide: step 5 of 5

put the images together to create the whole image, using the blue to fill the body
final result
