As soon as I saw this it reminded me of the movie The Shinning.

I like this. Some more texture/highlights to the blood might addd additional depth to it (especially under HIS left nostril) Excellent vision - and construction. I thought of Hannibal Lecter when I saw it. Anybody remember the name of the cop who's face Lecter "removed"??

Awesome, very hell raiser, excellent work! Maybe on the ebevl and emboss for the blood, have the shadow as v dark red instead of black and it will be perfect!

Entry guide: step 1 of 5

warp face into streched shape

Entry guide: step 2 of 5

using a layer mask eat into edges of face to create stretched shape and tears

Entry guide: step 3 of 5

drop onto background with vignette and add highlights and shadows to show tension in face

Entry guide: step 4 of 5

add hooks pulling face out

Entry guide: step 5 of 5

finally add the blood dripping down behind face and around tears

final result
