The start of the chop, and let me apologize in advance to the pretty young lady for what I am about to do.

I cut out the parts of her face I was going to manipulate for effect.

Then added some exhaustion and despair sagging.

Took a photo of one of my coworkers to add even more pathos to the image.

Duplicated the bloodshot eye after sizing it and combined it with the already sagging eyes of the girl and merged it all together.

Darkened the overall light level and added her thought bubble.

Added the light from her monitor

With permission, added chops from Hilleke, Rijkjavik and Arlo into the thought bubble. Once this was done I added a larger size background, made a red border around this image and added the "inspirational" message.
