very well done! although i think the part of the background that we see through the body should be a bit distorted, as it is when seen through a real glass surface.
oh, and as a matter of fact, i could see parts of the original material of the statue in the high res. i suggest you take care of that - make the statue's head transparent too! it should be transparent anyway.

Roz- the head was shopped the same as the body, perhaps it's the lack of cloud in the BG that makes it appear semi-solid. I looked at the hi-rez again and not sure how to 'fix' what looks like the original coming through. That's just how it turned out when following the tutorial. I may leave things as they are now, make notes and learn from the experience. Thanks so much for the constructive info.

I think Roz was referring to the line of the top of the clouds running through her hips. (the statue's hips, not Roz's hips) That is the part that would benefit fromsome distortion, but even without that extra it is very nice.
