avatar hilleke It's beautiful... I'd make the girl a bit darker on the left side, because the tower is dark on that side too. And for the moon, sometimes the moon and the sun are in the sky at the same time, seeing the clouds the sun is setting, so to me that look ok.

Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments and helpful suggestions! Glad you like it. I'll make the girl a bit darker, but intentionally left her highlighted for drama. And Arlo is exactly right, sometimes you can invent a light/shadow situation; especially for drama and surrealism.

avatar vicspa When one creates a fantasy scene but it is based on real objects, one has to walk the fine line between how shadows and perspective etc. behaves in their creation, and how far from reality do you take it before it becomes unbelievable to the viewer.One can always pick on something, anyway, JMHO I do like it alot.
Do you see the bear with claw in the clouds just to the left of the tower.

Thanks Vicspa, exactly, and sometimes it's ok to go heavy on the drama. Also, we're not limited to photo realsm all the time. (that would be a boring world)

I dont see a bear tho. I think I see an outline Claudio, drawing arrows to show me all the things I did "wrong".
