In this step I merged the contest image with an old photograph I had taken several years ago while visiting my family in Italy. I made sure to crop the image and erase all the former image except in the middle of the chair, so the original image stands out slightly from my photo.

This time I added a very simple wooden frame, photo taken myself from a photograph on my entertainment center. I erased the middle section, cropped it to size and turned the image slightly to match the width of the middle section of the chair. Once more creating a stand alone image against the chair, for effect.

In this step I mainly softened the image in the far back. Dodged the light that came through the open windows, along the floor and the walls. I burned the shadows to create a deeper effect. I also embossed the picture frame to make it stand slightly away from the chair.
