background. swirls and flower made with the pen tool.
Entry guide: step 2 of 6
the eye. made with pen tool, some with default brush tool, some burn tool here and there, and lots of free transforming. i also used the add noise filter for the "glitter" eyeshadow.
Entry guide: step 3 of 6
petals. made with pen tool, then using the inner shadow and gradient overlay layer properties. and also a default brush for the shadow in the middle of one of the petals with a bit of gaussian blur.

water. used gradient on different blend mode, the wave filter and smudge tool to define the waves more.

clouds. used the render>clouds filter, then the smudge tool to define them.

rain drops. made with pen tool.
