i think for me..if the flame is supposed to be water you might try to find a way to better define that. it just looks like a black flame to me...really good thought though!!

Entry guide: step 1 of 4

I used the source image and cut out the hand, candle and flame in separate layers... I used the stamp tool to fill in the hand (behind the candle)

Entry guide: step 2 of 4

I then deleted the flame and made the candle tansparrent ( to give it a glass look)

Entry guide: step 3 of 4

I then added the water flame in place of the old flame...to give it a water flowing effect :)

I then added the rope and the hanging man (from my souce pics)
Then added some shadows and glow...
