This is the 2050 model 10000HP Vespa. No seat provided, it's just squat and hang on. Ideal for that quick run to the shops for bread and milk (but bring a backpack).
Please view in high resolution for full detail. I hope you enjoy viewing the image as much as I enjoyed making it.

8-steps guide for Rocket rider:

Entry guide: step 1 of 8

Creation of Rocket rider: Step 1

Skier image used as background.


Entry guide: step 2 of 8

Creation of Rocket rider: Step 2

Removed skis and poles using clone stamp, cut & paste and redrew some areas.


Entry guide: step 3 of 8

Creation of Rocket rider: Step 3

Masked out the rocket (very time consuming) and added some noise and color adjustments.


Entry guide: step 4 of 8

Creation of Rocket rider: Step 4

Extended the background to the right and cut & pasted some of the background. Flipped it horizontally and blended it together.

Added the flame. Then created some smoke using "Render>Clouds" with colors being grey and white.

Added the front fairing, removed some noise and made color adjustments to match the rocket. Blended in skier's hand to hold handlebars and redrew area to remove motorcyclist's hands.

Extended the background down and added some more sky by copy & paste and then flipping vertically. Added the trees below that and blended them together.

Added motion blur to the trees, flame and smoke.
