My first attempt at ps only, a noobie at this! Wanted to do a takeoff on the Jetson's spaceage neighborhood.

Can't edit the steps! Step 4, made the tower top with the straight line lasso, gave it the chrome effect, then added the window with a glow effect. Also added a 'mass' in lower left corner with a brush, gave it a few hits. Big lens flare at top right.

7-steps guide for Jetson's 'Hood:

Entry guide: step 1 of 7

Made the tower column, with a chrome effect. Used square marquee to draw shape.

Entry guide: step 2 of 7

Started with an oval shape with the round marquee tool. Also added the chrome finish to this.

Entry guide: step 3 of 7

Added several more of the same oval layer, duplicated and moved the first one.

Entry guide: step 4 of 7

Added a gradient background, then did the render clouds difference - woohoo, liked that. Played with the levels a bit, tho. Then added a brush to it for that scratched look.

Added "ride" bottom with a chrome effect, and a cloud, with another brush.

Added the "ride" top, made it translucent and added a little sparkle.

And last but not least, every cool "ride" needs some fins, added the gold fin last. Drew this with the straight line lasso, then liquified it to curve it (since I don't have the warp toy ;-( ), and gave it a glow.

Ta-dah, my first ever ps only entry.
