I would suggest to use layer mask, bevel ever-so-slightly on your mask to give it a bit of depth, right now it looks like what it is, a cut and paste. Then, on a new layer, hand paint in some light shadow work where appropriate, don't get lazy and use the layers drop shadow effect here. Do this and your entry will shine.
