Only source used. Figured all of the images so far were focused on the kanga, so I decided to do something different. Plz comment CC is welcome as it only helps me to get better at this.

ah originality.. i like.. but as jamie said, it needs more done to the background.. also, some suggestions to make this better.. why don't you get sealife eg. seaweed, fish etc and either make them fit into the picture of make them sillouettes.. going with the sea life idea, you could try to make the roo make a cameo appearance? like for instance, copy its ears as fins, its face as a seahorse face etc.. i dunno.. just throwing ideas out cos i would love to see this develope.. it seems you have yourself a brillian blank canvas to work with.. great job so far

doesn't look like sea bottom to me, mainly because of the color (try aqua, turquoise, green, or navy) & lack of sea critters & veggies

Entry guide: step 1 of 8

Removed the Kanga. Clone tool and smudge to fill in where the kanga was.Then used hue/saturation to adjust the color to make the ground look more blue...

Entry guide: step 2 of 8

New layer chose a dark blue foreground and light blue background. gradient bottom to top on this layer. Used filter> distort> glass. then image >transform>distort to move the gradient up.

Entry guide: step 3 of 8

New layer changed gradient to dark blue to transparent small gradient from bottom of previous gradient down to middle to make it look more natural.

Entry guide: step 4 of 8

new layer fill with black add noise, image adjustments levels decrease the black and increase the white to add in particles. copy this layer for later.

Entry guide: step 5 of 8

with copied noise layer pixelate>crystalize> choose your settings. then find edges and invert. followed by transform distort bringing it down and spreading the bottom out. layer mode to screen. and add in a gradient black to transparent from top of distorted noise about a half inch.

add in light bean using lasso tool feather to about 20px. fill with white and lower opacity. copy this layer twice

use transform skew and skew to right.
