I used my own photo I took of my sister (with her permission) for the reference. I loved her expression; I thought it would go well with the kangaroo ;)
I used free brushes and texture for the skin from

EDIT: I fixed the too bright albino kangaroo, the skin tone, a bit to the eyes (though that still needs work) and uploaded a full resolution image.

Very nice, i love this kind of painting. Only thing that confuse me - eyes, wich supposed to look at cangaroo, but they are complitely closed.

Crazy good. Only thang Im not too sure about is how bright the kangaroo is. maybe its just me but it seems a little bright & out of place. nice job on making the hand look like its under the fur & how the kangaroo looks like its gripping her arm.
