I cut these out from the bird cage

I started to shape the cut outs to a picture of my own soapstone lampstand

Here I've nearly finished shaping the cut outs

Here I've added the base using the same techniques as the rest, basically warp and smudge

Here I've just created a texture mask from the original image of the soapstone lampstand. I placed this over construction and blend with opacity, I then used burn and dodge to get an old feel. I then added the background from sxc.hu
