I have looked at this contest many times and all of a sudden the fan cage looked like hooks to me. I thought this was interesting, and wanted to see how it would look like this. I also think it represents how I feel about some decisions that parents have to make.

interesting idea, I sure hope you come to grips with your decisions. try to find a tutorial on displacement maps, much easier.

I can`t see the PST source at the final result. you can make the same using another source....

You are correct in saying that I could make the face from any source, but you are not viewing the picture correctly if you dont see the hooks are from the fan. Claud, I know you are the highest level on here, and I respect your judgement. I just wanted to be a little different than the rest of them, if this is so bad, I apologize. Also, l have seen a ton of winners were it is almost impossible to see the original source without really looking, but they are magnificent pieces. I see the source in this, but it just might not be as good as others, and that I am OK with.

Excellent concept. Did you conside a perspective blur - sharp foreground and blurred elements as you move towards the background; the change in perspective left the elements slightly blurry.
